Comporta House  Portugal

“Comporta is the ‘new’ Hamptons”, was the headline that I read in the Times travel section in August 2016. So we had to go there. Following a week long investigative holiday enjoying the amazing 150 kilometre beach, horse riding, great seafood and local wines. We knew we had to be here working alongside local Portuguese and International Architects creating unique houses and resorts.

Like the Architects who in the 1960's built case houses in the Hampton's, we have decide to develop a range of houses, villas and resort that will work with the local context and the controlled development rules of the Comporta region.

We proposed a simple villa, a house, a modular house and a larger boutique resort. We will seek to work with local sustainable materials and construction processes. Local stone and rammed earth structures.

The objective is to seek international funding to build and develop these new case houses in a specific Comporta location by 2018. We will collaborate with local partners to deliver this vision.
