The clients approached us in 2014 to look at a full renovation of the Grade 2 Georgian listed property in Islington. Initial design concepts were agreed in 2015, with planning and listed building approvals eventually being granted in early 2016.

The design concept was to open up the basement as family living, dining and kitchen linked to the raised garden via a sunken courtyard and glazed extension. A new rear 2 storey brick extension, will house the family bathroom. The first floor is dedicated to the master bedroom and bathroom. The feel will be contemporary modernist lines and a simple pallet of materials with
clean lines.

Like any old listed property the plan form and features have been retained and enhanced.
