Maidstone Museum  Maidstone

An open RIBA competition, Mackay + Partners were successful in begin shortlisted to the final four. Presenting a scheme that provided increased area to the existing museum programme and developed a stand alone feature building.

Proposed to create a focus to the museum to both its entry and also for Maidstone. The new element was a free form structure encasing three levels entry, museum shop, audition and temporary museum display at high level, including new vertical transport for the museum.
